Use this preformed loop in combination with a loop detector to sense when a vehicle is present. This loop can be used to either open the gate or prevent the gate from closing on the vehicle. The GPI Preformed Loop has a 20 foot flexible perimeter and covers driveways up to 17 feet. with a choice of lead-in wire length.

The GPI Preformed Loop has a 20 foot flexible perimeter and covers driveways up to 17 feet. with your choice of lead-in wire length.The loop cable is UL listed for continuous submersion in water. It also has excellent resistance to cuts, tears, and abrasion as well as sunlight, oil, acid, impact, flame, and high temperature. All in all, the toughest, best constructed loop available. The wires within the cable have a slow twist and a filler in between them to help prevent false sensing due to ground movement "working" against loop cable. The pre-fabricated loops are suitable for installation before a concrete or hot asphalt pour, in a 1/2" slot in badly cracked asphalt/concrete, or under the surface of dirt or gravel. Ground of any condition or moisture content presents no problem for this loop.
