DKS 1815-640 DKProx Card Identifier reads the code on the DKProx cards and displays it on a computer. It uses DKS proprietary software that must be downloaded to the computer to read these card codes. The DKProx or ProxPlus/MiFare Card Scanner and compatible Software allows Access Managers to identify owners of lost cards, or easily identify cards that require access credential updates. The card scanner can be used when the card code is not printed on the card or the code has worn off the card. To use the scanner, connect one end of the cable to the card reader and plug the USB port on the computer. Then, wave the card above the reader to read the card code. The LED will flash. The DKProx software can not read a Mifare card and vice-versa. The APP is not available for smartphones.
