DKS DoorKing 1625-292 Pivot Bracket Weld allows a tie rod to pivot up to 110°, or 55° in either direction, to tie forms. It's made up of a slotted bent plate and threaded pivot bar, and the coil rod that matches the pivot bar and forming system is sold separately. The bracket can be attached to steel construction members, such as steel piles, metal beams, and weld plates, by following proper welding techniques. To ensure proper tie capacity, the coil rod must thread through the pivot bar a minimum of one diameter of the rod. One way to accomplish this is to position the coil rod tie perpendicular to the piling, then thread it through the bracket and pivot bar until it contacts the piling.
