Shipping and Delivery Policy:

We offer a choice of FedEx, UPS or US Postal Service (USPS) and/or LTL Freight. Please enter your zip code in the shipping calculator box on the 'shopping cart' page and click the 'get a quote' button. You will see a price for each shipping option. Check the one you want to use and then 'update' your cart for the total price including shipping. We send all products with delivery confirmation for your order protection.

*Please Note: We will charge an additional $11.00 fee for inaccurate addresses as determined by FedEx or UPS. We are not responsible for delays in shipping related to or caused by carrier and we do not provide any refund to shipping price due to such delays.

 

Privacy and Security:

We greatly value your business, and as such your privacy and data protection are of the utmost importance to us at Affordable Openers, CyberSource Corporation and its subsidiaries, including Authorize.Net LLC. We use Authorize.Net for processing our bank card transactions. CyberSource is committed to privacy and security. CyberSource is compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard ("PCI DSS") as a Level 1 service provider. CyberSource has been compliant with PCI DSS since its inception in 2002. PCI DSS is the bankcard industry's most stringent security standard. Examples of CyberSource's security measures include: physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards; sophisticated security monitoring tools; documented security policies; use of strong encryption for transmissions of Order Information to and from CyberSource Customers; restricted access of personally identifiable information; and, periodic security audits by third party security experts.

 

Warranty Policy:

We carry products that are new and unused. We do not supply manufacturer refurbished products, damaged products, or used goods. In-house warranty is up-held for 30 days from date of purchase. After this time period the warranty must be handled through the manufacturer. Affordable Openers will process the warranty at the request of the customer if a service fee of $49.00 is purchased and the item sent back (postage prepaid) to Affordable Openers. If an advance replacement is desired, a duplicate product will have to be purchased before the advance replacement is sent. The duplicate will be refunded at such time as the warranty is determined valid by the manufacturer.

 

Installation Recommendations:

Affordable Openers highly recommends that customers seek the expertise of professional gate installers. If you are in need of repair or service work, please contact an experienced professional. Affordable Openers does not provide installation services.

 

Return and Replacement Policy:

All returns must be sent postage prepaid and only with prior return authorization. An RMA# will be issued. Returns should be made in the original and undamaged packaging. We will replace/repair defective product at our discretion after evaluation. Warranty books, instruction manuals, and parts should be returned inside the original package.

Returns for refund must be made within 25 days of receiving an order and by prior approval. No returns are allowed on custom or special ordered items. Additionally, returns for refund are subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping damage should be reported directly to the carrier. Concealed damage on freight shipments must be reported to us within 3 days. C.O.D. returns are not accepted. Warranty returns must be made within 30 days of receiving product.

Exchanges Policy:

Items for exchanges must be returned complete and undamaged in original packaging. Restocking fees are usually not applied for most exchanges. An RMA# will be issued. Custom orders are not subject for exchange.

 


               Control Board Return Policy                       There are no returns on control/circuit boards. If there is an out-of-the-box problem with the board you receive, you must call us within twenty days of purchase at (888) 444-8123 to obtain an RMA# so you can ship the board back to us and we can start the evaluation process. If you do not wish to wait for this process to resolve, you can purchase a second board which will be credited back to you upon the Manufacturer's determination of a warranty issue. If the problem is not covered under warranty, you are responsible for all charges incurred. Manufacturer's findings are final. You are responsible for shipping the original product back to us: if the manufacturer determines there is a defect covered by warranty, we will reimburse your shipping fees (FEDEX/UPS Ground only).
